Amaaro! è un laboratorio di progettazione e realizzazione di oggetti in ceramica nato nel 2011 dalla collaborazione tra Claudia e Martino, pittrice e architetto.
Il dialogo fra i due differenti linguaggi creativi ha dato origine ad una fucina di idee in continuo divenire, che prende spunto dalla tradizione e dai diversi linguaggi della comunicazione visiva.
Le idee passano dal modellato allo stampo in gesso, dallo stampo alla composizione e realizzazione in terra che viene cotta e smaltata.
La formazione non accademica e l’approccio istintivo al materiale ceramico consentono un libero accesso alla tradizione che si traduce in possibilità creativa.
Le collezioni sono pensate come gruppi tematici di oggetti su cui si concentra il lavoro di ricerca ed approfondimento; sono edizioni limitate, numerate e catalogate di volta in volta.
Gli oggetti così concepiti, vengono realizzati interamente a mano in un laboratorio ricavato in una vecchia casa colonica nelle campagne di Reggio Emilia.

Amaaro! is a design and making laboratory of majolicaware born from the meeting of a painter and an architect in 2011.
The dialogue between the two different artistic languages, has given birth to an endless breeding of ideas in constant evolution which takes its inspiration from the tradition and the many different languages of visual communication.
Ideas go throught different processes, from the model to the plaster cast, from the plaster cast to the realization of the object in clay which gets baked and glazed.
Both the non-academic formation and the instinctive approach to the ceramic material, allow a breaking with tradition and therefore, a higher creative freedom.
Collections are thought like thematic groups of objects upon which work of research and investigation is focused; they are limited editions, numbered and classified each and every time.
The designed objects are entirely handcrafted in a workshop situated in a rural house in Reggio Emilia.
